POSTWORLD

You managed to escape from secret labs of ominous transnational corporation where you were one of many subjects to inhumane experiments. Now you are roaming the wasteland hoping to survive and take revenge.

What you can currently do in POSTWORLD:

  • Use melee weapons, guns, shields, explosives and brutal teammates to survive
  • Shoot body parts of enemies and even then do not expect they will stop trying to kill you
  • Select right equipment, armor, weapons, ammunition and stimulants among variety of available items
  • Roam the wasteland via Fallout 1-2-like global map where you take care of thirst, hunger, sleep, radiation and toxins
  • Explore and fight on unique manually crafted as well as procedurally generated levels
  • Combine and replace weapon parts as you need for a specific situation
  • Find the perks that suit your play style the most

We are currently in closed Alpha state. We are planning to launch on Steam EA (PC) in May 2018 with 15-20$ price.

Idea to create post-apocalyptic Action RPG was born in 2015. Even though it attracted a lot of enthusiastic people at the beginning it still remained an idea. Somehow we managed to push it further.

A lot of time was spent to choose and develop core features of the game and its common style.
We decided to start full-time development in beginning of 2017. Although the game is pretty ambitious for young indie studio as ours we are moving forward to release thanks to great teamwork and community feedback.

Future plans

Current version of the game is not really far from alpha and by that we mean almost pure mechanics without much balance. And so its main purpose is to test core features, tune and debug them. Nonetheless further development will be focused on following features.

Firstly, rich storyline that will involve faction war and countering evil corporation plans. This corporation has managed to preserve and gather even more technologies of prewar world despite of post apocalypse. Now it prepares a very inevitable fate for survivors.

Secondly, possibility to replace lost parts of the character with augmented ones. These will include arms and legs.

Thirdly, next playable build will contain creatures – mutated lizard and cow at least. Modular weapons will get new variants and also more unique weapons will be added.

Unfortunately we do not have enough resources to put into the game a lot of different content. However here is positive moment too. Very probably we will turn this content into superb expansions after release.
